Some Serious Fun
Old School
Review by Ross Anthony

Frat house stunts, gratuitous sex, drinking games -- yes. But also a lot of respectably stupid humor too. Will Ferrell is hilarious, but the others are all very apt in their respective comedic acting rolls. Definitely a strong B+. But Will's tranquilizer scene had me laughing so hard, my sides ached, my heart went pitter-pat. I'm serious. I have not laughed that hard since my siblings held me down and tickled me. I had to look away from the screen just to catch my breath. Not all the gags hit hard, but lots of chuckles, a good pace, strong direction, and with the strength of that tranquilizer scene I'm giving this one an A-.
