Common Man Caravan Update:
By Ross Anthony

Jim and Sue of Willits, California launch a common man convoy of donated travel trailers to carry supplies and volunteers to those who need them as a result of Hurricane Katrina and Rita.

The first trailer left Willets at 7:30 am Thursday October 6th. It stopped in Truckee and picked up some supplies there that were donated to Sue’s sister Alissa. The three man crew made it to Las Vegas by midnight and Casey’s cousin Lisa was nice enough to put them up for the night with her two dogs and 4 cats.

On October 7th, the first trailer crew crossed Arizona and spent the night in Gallop, NM. Meanwhile, back in Willits, a driver for the third trailer has been found. Your cash donations can still be used even while the caravan is on the road. Contact Sue at 707-459-5495 (Willits).

If you aren't far from the caravan route, you are encouraged to ask your local RV dealer, or friend if they have a travel trailer that they would like to donate to hurricane victims. Thank you for all you may already be doing to help out those in need!
