Acoustic Electric Guitar
Ibanez AEG10e
Review by Ross Anthony

Ibanez AEG10e Smaller hands appreciate a smaller guitar, smaller neck. This acoustic electric gives me the smaller size, but still nice acoustic sound. Yes, you'll lose a little in the bass end. But, there is a nice treble tone to this guitar and its softer decibel resonance makes it a pleasure to sing over.

I'm very happy with it. I have nothing negative to say. It looks very classic in black, the Fishmann electronics sound clean, I like the built-in phaser and especially built-in tuner. The guitar has both an xlr and 1/4 jack which is nice. Takes two AA instead of 9volt and turns on when the cord is plugged in. That can be good or bad. Actually, I'd prefer a switch as not to burn battery power while I'm playing another instrument.

Have a listen to this track. I've played all guitar parts on this Ibanez. The electric guitar sounds are made by playing the Ibanez through Digitech's RP50 pedal -- another very cool toy. Another cool thing to do with A/E guitars is to record one tack acoustically and the other electric. This gives a fuller sound for the final recording.
