It's a ball
Review by Ross Anthony

Surprisingly engaging. Just as the first act starts to drag ... well rather, shortly after the dragging of the first act, Cinderella arrives at the ball -- and cinematic magic happens. It's simply a beautiful beautiful scene that took my breath away. And I'm a grown man!

Yes, I had some issues with the pace of the first act, and I would have preferred that the evil stepmother be developed beyond the rather flat character we've always known her to be, but I am very grateful for the beautiful moments in this film.
