Mallory Smith
Salt in my Soul
Review by Ross Anthony

This is an engaging reminder of the preciousness of life, the beauty of those who love us, and the power each of us has to help others. Thank you Mallory for leaving us with your legacy, the world is a better place for your struggles and triumphs.

The documentary chronicles Mallory's medical journey posthumously in her own words, the words of her mother and father, friends, and the doctors who were responsible for her care. You'll learn a lot about CS and the newest treatment possibilities. That said, this is not so much the philosophical/spiritual journey you might expect from the blurb. Perhaps the book is more of that.

Still, Mallory leaves quite an impression. Hopefully, one that reminds all of us to not take this miracle of life for granted.

Rand() functions, Pho chicken soup, rollerblading, and frozen yogurt (w/ blueberries) also rock! (Btw, rand is short for random. It can also stand for "Really Awkward Nutty Dinosaurs" -- which is quite rand, isn't it?) Being alive is the miracle.
