A Short Course in Kindness
Book Review by Author/Illustrator Ross Anthony

This is a sweet little book that does a great job reminding while at times teaching us to be kind. If you mistakenly think you're kind because you're mostly nice or polite -- think again. Of the many useful lessons and reminders in this book, the section on Kindness vs. Niceness is the one that rings the strongest.

Written with a good heart and good care and plenty of real world examples --it's a pleasure to read. I'm adding this to the list of books I get extra copies of so that I can give them away.

"Why is it that we can be immensely kind to others yet so hard on ourselves? Why don't we realize that when we choose kindness as a way to walk in the world, the path includes kindness to ourselves? Being kind to humanity includes being kind to ourselves."

It can also stand for "Really Awkward Nutty Dinosaurs" -- which is quite rand, isn't it?) Being alive is the miracle.
