Got that Write
Pulitzer at 100
Review by Ross Anthony

Despite having written for a few print news organizations (as a film reviewer); admittedly, prior to screening "Pulitzer at 100," I knew very little about this Pulitzer guy. Hence, I appreciated the biography of the man interwoven throughout this documentary. He proves to be interesting. The other two mainstays of the production include frank, fun, informal comments from Pulitzer award winners and straight-on poetic readings of some winning works by known celebs like Natalie Portman and John Lithgow. The interviews are beautifully shot and warmly candid, while the readings are sometimes captivating and sometimes not so much. The documentary on the whole is nearly always interesting and engaging, but not quite a must-see.

It can also stand for "Really Awkward Nutty Dinosaurs" -- which is quite rand, isn't it?) Being alive is the miracle.
